The Beatles John Lennon 5 Piece Nesting Doll Set - Handcrafted Stacking Matryoshka Set

These look hand-painted and well-crafted. They are a little smaller than I expected, but they fit together well. It is a great gift for Beatles lovers.

Being a big Beatles fan for so many years, I have managed to build a fairly big collection of memorabilia. When I saw these "Russian" nesting dolls of the Beatles on Amazon, I thought they'd be great to add to our collection. There are 5 nesting dolls, the four Beatles and the littlest one being an actual beetle bug. The dolls, starting at the smallest, fit into each other until the are all in the largest doll, in this case, John Lennon. They are in their Sgt. Pepper costumes painted on the wood, then lacquered over to a smooth finish. They are nicely done, with hand painted drawings. They are nicely constructed and I am happy to add this to our Beatles memorabilia.

I've been a huuuuge Beatles fan ever since they landed in America. So I have a very big collection of Beatles LPs, rarities, etc. When I saw these, I figured I might as well add them to my collection. I mean, come on, an unlicensed Russian doll set made in China--who could resist?Anyway, they are very colorful and detailed. I did find some of them difficult to separate; maybe some sandpaper will help.Poor Ringo is so small in these. But the reason I took off a point is because the smallest doll is a beetle! A beetle???? Come on guys, use a little imagination--the Sgt. Pepper patch, a Yellow Submarine, but a beetle???

This is a pretty cool set of The Beatles - Sergeant Pepper's lonely hearts club bandThis is a good deal on a set that is hand painted. Not sure if that's true, but they look goodThese Russian nesting eggs always a conversation starterAll five pieces are pretty well made and the caps are very snug. All you have to do is move the top half from side to side to remove. Trying to twist or pull from the top is not as successful

Fairly high quality nesting dolls. They do squeak a bit when you untwist them and it’s extremely loud but that will most likely go away with more use. They’re fairly detailed and a good choice for any Beatles fan.

I’ve been a Beatles fan from the beginning, so when I saw this set of nesting dolls, I had to have it. The set is well made and beautifully painted. The tops and bottoms fit together perfectly and are very secure. The quality of the wood and finish is excellent. I had a little trouble getting the top off the John doll, because it’s a tight fit. But then I realized it worked best to also push away on the top, while you are also lifting it. Once I got that top off the first time, it became easier to do. I love that the tiniest doll has a painting of a beetle. Very sweet and the included red box makes it a great gift for a Beatles fan or a collector of rock memorabilia.

Some of the dolls were hard to open. But I got them all to work. They are beautiful!!!

And it's pretty awesome.Just looks much bigger in the photo.

Amazing gift for my mom. They make a stellar piano decoration.

This was perfect and it went over very well with the person I gave it to! Thank you!

Bought these as a gift for a huge Beatles fan and she was so excited! She didn’t even know these existed and she loved them! I especially loved the beetle as the tiny one inside! 10/10 would highly recommend for a Beatles person.

Loved them. All hail to The Beatles

They loved them. I’m a little sad Ringo is the smallest. Poor Ringo.

I've seen some matroyshkas that don't look like the people they're supposed to represent, but these look exactly like the members of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, I smile every time I see them.

It was a gift. My friend liked it.

Such a unique gift for a die hard Beatle fan. I was so impressed with the quality I purchased

Such an adorable, high quality set! The dolls are painted well and they look beautiful! Highly recommended!

I got these for a white elephant gift for my small family party. They are fun little nesting dolls and silly as well. We were having my father and mother over as well as a few other older relatives. They thought they were the funniest thing ever. Was a big hit

This was an adorable gift for a beatles fan. Very cute, works well, did not stick.

In my family, it has become sort of a tradition for any babies to get nesting dolls because they're fun and simple to play with. I got these for my new baby. He's not a fan of nesting dolls or the Beatles yet, but these are of super high quality, and I'm sure when he's a little older he will enjoy taking them apart and putting them together.

really great quality wooden nesting dolls. The artwork on them is perfect. Vibrant colors. Fit together perfect. Great for any Beatles collector.

This set is truly awesome! I absolutely love it. It's made well and the colors are fantastic.

Product was better than expected. Very impressed

The Beatles are represented as characters from the movie Sargent Pepper on these stacking dolls. The smallest doll represents a beetle. The paint is very good quality. This is a great gift if you know someone who is a fan of the Beatles.

I got this for my 13-year-old son. He is an absolute music lover, and really enjoys listening to the Beatles. He really loved it. He likes that it can store compactly or he can spread them out depending on where he wants to put them in his room. They were a bit hard for him to open, but he has it figured out now.The tiny beetle in the middle is very cute but he was confused at first. I did have to remind him that they are called the Beatles.

This Russian nesting Beatles set is wonderfully crafted. Beautiful artwork and colors. The dolls open and close easily. I personally have them all opened and lined up in my office to show each one. This is a great gift for the hard to buy for Beatles fan!

I absolutely love this Beatles Sgt. Peppers Russian stacking dolls. I have been a fan of the Beatles since 1964 when I was in high school. Yes I am old. These nesting dolls are beautifully painted and bring back great memories of the Beatles. They fit snugly together and I have them displayed on my bookcase. I would consider these stacking dolls very giftable for young or old.
